Southern New Mexico

 First stop, the alien museum in Roswell, NM:

 Then on to Carlsbad Caverns, the first night we went to the bat flight, where thousands of bats fly out of the caves at night to hunt:

Then the next day we went down into the caves:

We had met up with an out-of-state friend whose daughter is just a couple weeks younger than Sarah.

Then off to White Sands (at sunset):

The next day we visited some friends in Las Cruces:

Finally a stop at our old stomping grounds, New Mexico Tech:
